    Changing lightbulbs is an excellent first step toward energy efficiency! In what other ways can you exercise your civic duty to protect the environment and reduce carbon emissions?

    Recycle and compost to reduce waste, use paper grocery bags instead of plastic. Adopt energy efficiency practices at home such as keeping the thermostat to 66 in the winter and wear a sweater and slippers :)

    I assumed that going sugar free would be the hardest part of this challenge, but Whole Foods only is tougher! If it's too easy it's not worth it, right?

    If we want to make an impact on the world around us it starts by taking responsibility, looking at our own actions. This Challenge is a platform for more personal responsibility and less pointing fingers and other people. I appreciate this opportunity.

    Social media is a great way to keep us connected with loved ones, makes us laugh, and helps us to learn new things. It can also take more time than we realize or intend to give. After doing this action for a few days now, how do you feel? What do you notice?

    I feel happier when I spend less time on social media. I'm not comparing myself to others.

    I know I was addicted to sugar, as a result I'm slightly irritated on day 1, but it'll be ok!
