Congrats Port of Portland EcoChallenge Team!

We learned and laughed, we improved our health and knowledge, and we came in at 20th in a field of 842 teams.  We also won two of our three team challenges (and on a per-participant point basis, we were winners all the way around).  Way to go!  Special recognition to Nicole Campbell - who was our EcoChallenge Champion and  point leader for most of the event.  Nicole also served as an awesome co-captain this year.

For those of you who earned 250 points or more and wish to pursue the Wellness credit incentive:  Submit documentation of the activity to Courtney Rust, courtney.rust@portofportland.com, (x 6311) by printing out your EcoChallenge home page that includes your total points, challenges participated in, and feed history by Wednesday, November 21, 2018 and sending via interoffice mail or email a screen shot of the dashboard to her.

Erin, Nicole and I will follow up in the next week or two with the Port SWAG winners and transfer of the official EcoChallenge Champion trophy.  Thanks again to all who participated and made a good showing in the EcoChallenge on behalf of the Port!

Thanks to Ellen Ridgeway for supporting the Sharing Economy and loaning me her sewing machine so I could make wings for my pups.  Pictured:  Matia.

    POP EcoGroovy EcoChallenge Team!

LAST CHANCE TO LOG YOUR ACTIONS

IMPORTANT: Log your actions by 11:59 pm, Wednesday, October 24 (in your time zone).
Logging your actions will give us an accurate collective impact count, and ensure your individual and team actions are included in the final prize competitions.

DON'T FORGET: You can check-in retroactively up to four days back, not including today.

A total of 250 is the point threshold for the Port Wellness credit incentive.  Remember to add one final check in as well - what did you get out of participating in the EcoChallenge?  For other questions about the Welleness Credit, please contact Courtney Rust.

As of this morning on the final EcoChallenge 2018 day, out of 838 teams, we are ranked at 20!  This is very impressive for 58 team members!

Thanks so much for your participation in this fun, habit building, educational event.

Greetings POP EcoGroovy EcoChallenge Team - We are on the second to last day for the Eco Challenge.  Remember to log your activities and make a post or two.  You can go back to previous dates to check in and log activities - and get points for those days as well.  Remember you need a total of 250 points logged for the Port Wellness credit (Courtney Rust has the details). Go Team!

Hey POP Team - Three days to go!  Log your actions and post.  We are in the final eco-groovy stretch of this event.

  • Shannon Tocchini 10/17/2018 11:24 AM
Hey Team - Currently we are ranked 23rd out of 826 teams based on our team points total - pretty impressive.  Washington County and Hennebery Eddy Architects - who challenged us - are still ahead of us by a couple thousand points, but victory is still within reach.  Remember to post, log completed actions, consider completing a few one time actions and even recruit.  And have fun building eco-groovy and healthy habits.

Way to rock the points team!  We are at 14,160 as a team this morning, less than 1000 away from getting ahead of Washington County and Hennebery Eddy Architects - two teams that challenged us this year.  Remember to log your points, post, recruit and get eco-groovy!

If you missed logging actions for a day (weekends!), you can toggle back to that date and mark the actions you completed to receive credits for those days.  Happy EcoChallenging!
