For my Eco Challenge, I picked two different things to do. One of them was to spend an extra 30 minutes outside rather than inside watching TV or playing on my computer/phone. The other was to bring reusable bags when I go grocery shopping rather than taking the plastic bags they have at the store. Spending an additional 30 minutes outside was difficult because right when this challenge started, the weather changed and got cold outside, and it isn't very enjoyable to be outside when it is raining and cold. I just had to find a time to go outside when it was decent out and I wasn't getting poured on. For the reusable bags, I decided to buy some reusable bags from Walmart. The hardest part about using these reusable bags was remembering to bring them to the store once I brought my groceries into my house because I tended to forget to bring them back to my car after I unloaded them. It is nice though, because my roommates and I all share the bags now, so we are getting a lot of use out of them.
