this is pretty easy as most power company websites had energy analysis.  no real surprises as we have a new house and a lot of energy efficiency built into it.
  • REFLECTION QUESTION

This one is tough...it's was good to go out and get info about toxic cleaners...which is most of the major brands we use everyday.  The tough part will be replacing what I can with better non toxic alternatives.
  • REFLECTION QUESTION
    Nature Support Local Pollinators
Why is it important to take care of pollinators?

As a gardener and outdoorsman I am very aware of the pollinators and have done some research in the past and am part of a farm where we took acreage out of crop production and put it into a federal pollinator program.
  • REFLECTION QUESTION
    Waste Find Local Recycling Depots
Our ability to recycle certain things ebbs and flows based upon many factors. Luckily there are places that accept uncommon things to recycle or dispose of in a less harmful way. What did you find when looking for places to recycle items that can't be recycled in your curbside bin?

it's pretty eye opening when you start to search how many options there are for recycling things
  • REFLECTION QUESTION
    Nature Forage for My Food
Amongst the motivations for foraging are: a source of food; means of income; connecting with nature; cultural tradition; or transmitting "local ecological knowledge, and a means for stewarding local and native plant populations" (McLain et al. 2012, 13). Which of these would be your chief motivation and why?
