Being outside, walking and breathing feeds my soul!

    Simplicity Limit Social Media
Social media is a great way to keep us connected with loved ones, makes us laugh, and helps us to learn new things. It can also take more time than we realize or intend to give. After doing this action for a few days now, how do you feel? What do you notice?

Reducing or skipping social media feeds like Facebook are really helping to reduce the clutter in my thoughts.  Whether its stress about some thread I saw or worrying if I'm missing out on something, the daily check ins to social media were taking a toll.  I find I am better without the screen time.
  • REFLECTION QUESTION
    Waste Skip the Straw
How could you incorporate other "R's" -- reduce, reuse, refuse, repair, repurpose, etc. -- into your lifestyle?

It's remarkable how many restaurants still put a straw in a water glass before they even bring it to the table.  I have to remember to ask for "no straw" as soon as we are seated.  Occasionally I get strange looks or am asked why, but it's worth it to skip the straw.
