REFLECTION QUESTIONHealthBefore you started this challenge, did you think you were 'addicted' to sugar? How do you feel now?
Jordan Wheeler 10/22/2018 10:38 AMAs expected, this one is hard to do. Especially this time of year! A fund raising bake sale was my undoing :) -
REFLECTION QUESTIONFoodAn average American throws out about 240 lbs of food per year. The average family of four spends $1,500 a year on food that they throw out. Does this surprise you? Where would you rather use this money?

REFLECTION QUESTIONSimplicityWhat did you notice in implementing this challenge? Was it hard to choose other activities over screen time? How did you decide to spend your time?
Jordan Wheeler 10/22/2018 10:33 AMInstead of watching football during naptime, I cleaned the gutters. No screen time plus I got a chore done. -
REFLECTION QUESTIONEnergyChanging lightbulbs is an excellent first step toward energy efficiency! In what other ways can you exercise your civic duty to protect the environment and reduce carbon emissions?
Jordan Wheeler 10/22/2018 10:31 AMWe moved into our house over a year ago and it took me this long to get around to the bulbs that I haven't replaced... Thanks ecochallenge!

Jordan Wheeler 10/10/2018 10:09 AMReading reports on the UN's latest climate report and other resources (like keeporegoncool.org) is sobering. So many resources out there that talk about the impacts we are experiencing now and the future that awaits us and our children if we don't take big and systemic changes now just to avoid the worst of it.
