REFLECTION QUESTIONHealth More Fruits and VeggiesWhat do you think contributes to people in North America eating more meat than any other places, and what does this say about North American values and ways of living? How can we start shifting from a meat-focused food culture to a more plant-based one?
Ken Zatarain 10/24/2018 3:09 PMFall apple and pear harvest- good time to eat more of the fresh fruit we have here in Oregon. Portland Nursery apple fest and Hood River Harvest festival are good places to try new varieties and load up on quality fruit at a low price.-

REFLECTION QUESTIONHealth Exercise DailyHow can you incorporate other personal values (like quality time with friends or spending time in nature) into your exercise routine?
Ken Zatarain 10/24/2018 3:07 PMRunning on any of the many woodland trails close to downtown Portland (Marquam Trail, 4T Trail, Washington Park and in Forest Park) is a great way to get absorbed into a green and natural environment. Running to top of Council Crest and Pittock Mansion give you a panoramic view of our beautiful city.
