Fall apple and pear harvest- good time to eat more of the fresh fruit we have here in Oregon. Portland Nursery apple fest and Hood River Harvest festival are good places to try new varieties and load up on quality fruit at a low price.

Running on any of the many woodland trails close to downtown Portland (Marquam Trail, 4T Trail, Washington Park and in Forest Park) is a great way to get absorbed into a green and natural environment. Running to top of Council Crest and Pittock Mansion give you a panoramic view of our beautiful city.
