    Transportation Drive Less
    How has your access to various kinds of transportation throughout your life influenced your current attitudes about transportation and your transportation behavior?

    Probably the biggest access-related influence is the fact that my car is breaking down, multiple organ failure, and I don't have the means to fix even one of its many problems.  I have also had access to bus travel, which I'll maximize during this challenge.  I've always hated buses because all sorts of bad things have happened on them, but Portland bus travel is so much better than in other places I've lived.  I have a bike, but won't be able to ride it as only one hand will be available.  I would really love to get back into shape for cycling and make it my primary mode of transportation.

    My goal is to not drive a car during the challenge period, unless an emergency.  I also will not take any car trips made just for me; if a person is already going someplace and I go along that's okay since I'm not adding more carbon by going.
