This has made me be more aware of actions and that simplifying is not a bad thing.

Here are some of the short documentaries I watched on the Food Sovereignty movement: La Vie Compasino Seeds of Our Ancestors Valerie Segrest at TEDx Seattle I didn't agree with some of the political rhetoric, but they got me to thinking about the problem, my role in it, and what I can do about it.

The time sort of got away from me and I missed nearly a week of EcoChallenge!  It's never too late to get going.  How are y'all doing on the challenges?  What are you focusing on?  Post your thoughts to the feed.

Food sovereignty isn't just about peasant farmers growing their own food to eat.  It is a complex issue involving climate change, biodiversity, economic transfer of power, and indigenous culture.  Viewing the videos reminded me of Central Louisiana's problem with food deserts. Maybe a Strong Community project for Wardville could be equipping...

Meeting the 5 minute shower limit wasn't that hard since I take short showers anyway.  I set a 5 minute timer on Alexa (that plays the radio during my morning routine) to make sure.
