Land Sharks

This challenge has definitely made me more aware of my habits! Glad I was a part of it! :) 

So I had a cosmopolitan today and it came with a plastic cocktail straw. should have seen that one coming.  It seams we almost have a symbiotic relationship with the the stuff. Small Dakine, but for the most part I've been successful today. used glass jars to get laundry soap and curried pistachios. 

I failed to achieve my zero plastics today need to search for toilet paper wrapped in paper. also bought some great German mustard in a glass mug but it had a plastic lid,Do'h.

After my eyes adjusted to the natural light, objects became more clear and vibrant. I could hear more distant sound. I could smell the dank and earthiness of the bio-swell. I felt the mildly smooth surface of a very large basalt rock placed unnaturally in the riparian area just off the pavement of the parking lot.......... Fascinating. 

Shoping with zero plastics in mind is very revealing of the limited options available. What was uplifting was joining a food coop (People's ) and I can get bulk tofu,bring your own container,local artisan bread in a paper bag.Peace out and good luck with your chalengrs.

Today I received my box of organic fruits and veggies from www.imperfectproduce.com very happy with quality. I recommend to anyone. Saves food from waste, saves water, fuel. Watch the video at the Web site . These came in a cardboard box.No plastick used.cool.

Harder than I thought . Must find coconut milk without plastic top. Hallo brand vegan ice cream paper container with foilseal,Yea!

I used wax paper bags for my lunch today..I did not shop today so that's going to be my first big hurdle.
