October 21 at 12:27 AMFantastic to plant so many trees at Oaks Bottom Wetlands w/Friends of Trees collaborating with Lewis & Clark law students and the Sustainable Future Section. A cloudless morning planting dogwood, willow, rose and other trees with a few snowy egrets and a blue heron among other wildlife companions.

October 19 at 9:37 AMAbout 40% of our electricity comes from existing hydro; 40% from coal and natural gas, and the remainder from new renewable resources. An increased RPS and other measures will help Oregon increase its renewable energy % and reduce our fossil fuel percentage.
