    I couldn't find a place that takes household batteries, but I did find a few places that take auto batteries as well as discarded electronics.

    We were rated 9.5/10 compared to similar homes. I was surprised by this; I don't see how we use so much less electricity/gas than other people.

    I started out with a pot of mint in the window! We don't have a ton of south-facing windows in our house (it's a small house!) so my next step is too look into UV lights so I can put a bigger garden in the back room.

    Spending time outdoors, and seeing what a beautiful place we live in, makes me more aware of how my actions might affect that beauty.  Leave no trace!
