October 20 at 6:30 PMCalled Sen. Sweeney to get him to vote on S678 to protect our water and post it against storing fracking waste. Call 1-877-591-6399!

October 20 at 6:28 PMDug into the trash of our club house and recycled 8 plastic bottles, 2 glass bottles, and a package of paper. Why did I dig into trash? We have a recycling bin!
-
October 10 at 8:01 PMTrying to get to sleep before midnight and get at least 6-7 hours of sleep!
-
October 10 at 7:54 PMTrying not to feel guilty for not being able to do everything all at once! Stress is unhealthy!

October 9 at 4:16 PMI went to a local meeting about fracking waste that is being considered to be dumped locally in our area. There are many actions that I am involved in including a meeting with a local politician and letters to the Governor and meetings with our legislators.

October 9 at 3:10 PMSingle use plastic bags seem to multiply in my environment day by day. I have cloth bags in my car so I don't have to use the single use plastic bags and I don't always remember to bring them with me to the stores I frequent. I often remember to refuse a plastic bag when I'm not distracted.

October 9 at 3:08 PMI am challenged with getting enough sleep. Winding down earlier in the night so that I am not tempted by my electronic devices would be one way to get more sleep. Eliminating snack foods close to bedtime would also be helpful. This is clearly a work in progress for me.

October 9 at 3:04 PMI think it is matter of habit and education. As more people learn about the negative health impacts of eating animal fat, and the health benefits of eating a plant based diet, things will begin to change. Education and experience eating healthy food choices will help people begin to shift their diets.

October 8 at 8:46 AMChoosing to buy local in season produce helps limit the carbon footprint of the food that I eat.
