I love the EcoChallenge. It's been fun to be in a different area, and the different things I can do to help...like not take a long shower at the hotel. I'm challenge a friend at the same hotel to do the same.

I have been in this situation before. I do pride myself on reusing the dispoable bags. I also have been in the habit of purchasing a reusable bag, which I will then use as a gift bag and pass on to my loved ones.

The biggest issue impacting both my local and global waters is pollution. By eliminating the amount of waste I am producing, I am decreasing the amount of garbage that may make it's way to our waterways.

I live an area that has introduced non-native fish species, which have taken over the native population. By harvesting and eating these non-native fish, I'm allowing the native fish an opportunity to thrive in their natural environment.
