Well, its been a fun (and eye opening) three weeks.  Looks like Jonathan is solidly in the lead; way to go!

Gee.  The less screen time challenge is harder than I thought.  In fact, it feels like it's harder to stay off the computer now that I've committed myself.  Maybe I'm just more aware of how much time I do spend...

    Simplicity Less Screen Time
What did you notice in implementing this challenge? Was it hard to choose other activities over screen time? How did you decide to spend your time?

Already, this is turning out to be my hardest challenge.  I've been slowly reducing my internet time.  I started by deciding to visit only those sites I enjoyed visiting, and nothing else.  As I got bored with them, I reduced my webtime.

Now, I'm pretty bored with all my sites, but I still visit them. :-z  I'm hoping this EcoChallenge will give me the impetus to finally stop going on the internet because I'm bored and want to waste time.

As well as spending more time outdoors, I've taken up the habit browsing the old fashioned way--I pick up a random book and sit down!

I'm surprised I'm in the lead!  It just goes to show that in saving the environment--as with anything--picking manageable tasks and sticking to them can have a big impact.

I picked "Go get a check up" as a challenge since I haden't been to the doctor in years.  I always worry I'll go in and be diagnosed with some rare, incurable disease usually picked up in the tropics.  Turns out I just need to eat better and exercise more...
