Added curbside composting to our home services today! and found a nifty little compost bin for the kitchen at a local non-profit's thrift store!

Challenge is going well! Have ordered a curb-side composting bin which should arrive Monday so we'll start composting our food and yard waste through our city's service.  Having the daily check-in accountability is definitely a motivator.
  • REFLECTION QUESTION
    Waste Use a Reusable Mug
Maybe you've heard how good it is to switch from a single use coffee cup to a reuseable one but it's just hard to make the switch. Think about what stands in your way of making this a habit. By identifying the challenges, you can begin to work through them to have better success in taking this action. Knowing the difference you are making, how does it make you feel?

Choosing this as one of my daily challenges has definitely made an impact on my habits.  There have been a couple times already this month that I've though about getting a to-go coffee at the coffee shop, but didn't 'cause I hadn't brought my reusable coffee cup along with me.  Saved me some money and a cup in the landfill!
