Have been anticipating this day for some time and super excited to get started on my actions! So far today, I am completing all challenges selected. There was a moment I ALMOST ate banana bread, but quickly reminded myself not having refined sugar was one action selected.

I am tired of consumers waiting for corporations to stop using straws, how about you be responsible and bring your own cup AND straw?

I have guests at my job that ask for straws only to stir their drink and set aside. LITERALLY single-use. It's hard for humans to break habits, they need to be guided in new directions.

Couldn't agree more about taking the proactive approach. Particularly with the straw. Bringing your own cup to most restaurants, however, puts them in a challenging place with regard to food handling issues - but declining the straw is as easy falling off a log. As is using your own durable cutlery at a location that offers single use plastics. Put your proactivity where your mouth is... (literally ;)

If you have $68,000 you can buy a vintage VW Beetle that has an electric motor and double the horsepower of the original motors.
