  • REFLECTION QUESTION
Simplicity Go for a Daily Walk
Fresh air and movement are good for our entire being and can help us think more clearly and creatively. How does taking a walk each day affect yourself and/or your work?

There's true beauty in a 15-minute walk--just walking for the joy of it, appreciating the crisp fall air and the changing colors of the leaves.  Or walking to get from here to there and back, as bodies were designed to do. It's relaxing and energizing at the same time.  It improves my focus and my sleep.  It increases my sense of well-being.

    Simplicity De-Clutter My Home
How can you prevent yourself from accumulating more things in the future?

It makes sense to think differently about gifts.  Asking for experiences instead of stuff as a gift is one way to avoid accumulating things I don't really want or need.  I can also give experiences (e.g. concert or theater tickets, time spent together doing something the receiver enjoys, etc).
  • REFLECTION QUESTION
    Health Healthy Sleep
Consider how many hours of sleep you get now. How would you like to shift your sleep patterns? What are you finding works for you to be successful in this action?

I have to stop working on my computer or doing housework at least an hour before I need to go to bed.  Winding down with a cup of herb tea helps, too.
