Walking affords me the opportunity to see details in buildings, plants, surfaces, and to interact with people along the route that driving just doesn't allow.
  • REFLECTION QUESTION

If we start where we are and appreciate and nourish the wonder around us, then we can incrementally expand our horizons and find more ways to care for each other and the planet.
  • REFLECTION QUESTION
    Nature Enjoy the Sunrise/Sunset
Father Thomas Berry says, "...our primary purpose is celebration. Celebration of the dawn and the sunset and the different seasons of the year is a religious ritual, a way in which humans can establish their integral relationship with the universe, with the planet Earth." Respond to Berry's assertion.

Yes, we are all warmed by the same sun and charmed by the same moon. This ritual helps to remind me I am connected to all others on the planet.
