Participant Feed

Reflection, encouragement, and relationship building are all important aspects of getting a new habit to stick.
Share thoughts, encourage others, and reinforce positive new habits on the Feed.

To get started, share “your why.” Why did you join the challenge and choose the actions you did?

  • REFLECTION QUESTION
    Simplicity Track my Purchases
What have you noticed about your purchases? Where are you inclined to make shifts, if any?

I already kept pretty good mental tabs on my purchases, but this has been great to actually track it. I can hopefully then look at multiple months collectively to see how I can make adjustments. Currently, my biggest opportunity I have observed to make changes is in entertainment costs on weekends - though it is definitely good to still have fun and enjoy life :)
  • REFLECTION QUESTION
    Water 5-Minute Showers
Five minute showers are an impressive step toward reducing your water footprint. What is the next step you can take?

Turning off the shower when I am not rinsing (aka when applying shampoo, conditioner, etc.). This will be particularly difficult since we are now approaching winter....
  • REFLECTION QUESTION
    Health Happiness
How does/can practicing gratitude keep you centered and motivated to work for a better world?

When we start with personal well-being and appreciating ourselves, we are better able to appreciate everything and everyone that is around us. By thinking about what we are most grateful for and what motivates us, we can choose to act and support causes that stem from our core values. Feeling this personal connection to the work we do and efforts we give towards often increases the impact we are able to have because we are more invested.
