Thank you, team!  With 49 team members, we made much more progress than last year and will continue to grow as a club and team next year.  Hope these tasks helped you change some habits.  Stay ECO!

SCARCE is a wonderful organization in Glen Ellyn that helps redistribute resources to teachers and community members who need supplies.  We look forward to supporting their efforts this year.

I have not done much today--thanks NO SCHOOL!  But I guess that helps the environment, too.

I am much more aware of what plastic I am using now.  I skipped plastic bags today and reused one that a friend already had.  Trying to make a small difference.

I am super excited about our straw display at NV--to raise awareness and inspire others to make better choices than plastic straws.

I'm not going to lie.  I really wanted a cheeseburger for lunch today, but I am eating a peanut butter sandwich at my desk instead.  I believe these small steps we take during this month will help us model for others and will help us remember for ourselves to make healthy choices after the EcoChallenge is over.

I'm not going to lie.  I really wanted a cheeseburger for lunch today, but I am eating a peanut butter sandwich at my desk instead.  Feels good to make that conscious choice.  I believe these small steps we take during this month will help us model for others and will help us remember for ourselves to make healthy choices after the EcoChallenge is over.
