    to achieve 2 fruits and 2 veg, I tried to cook more freq at home. In this way, it will be healthier.  Did my 1 hr Zumba workout, it feels good.

    Had salad today and I prepared it myself last night. Good to know that I am meeting 2 of my daily goals doing just this. Yipee. !!
    A good suggestion fm colleague is to have 'salad party' on a weekly basis. This will encourage the 2 veggie and 2 fruits goal and be a healthier u.

    It is quite difficult to meet the 2 vegs and 2 fruits challenge especially when you eat out often and with family members. However, will strive to meet this challenge on a daily basis. At times, we must celebrate our achievement by taking a break .. This will motive us more .

    What do you think contributes to people in North America eating more meat than any other places, and what does this say about North American values and ways of living? How can we start shifting from a meat-focused food culture to a more plant-based one?

     I think it is the fast food culture and the easily accessible home grown meat. Also the TV programs and advertisement draws people towards eating more meat. 
    It is not easy to change from meat focus to vegetable focus. It is individual's preferance and. We can encourage them  by having 1 plant base meal a week and gradually increasing their intake.

    Challenge is going fine as plan. It may get harder with time if not persistent especially in eating 2 veg and 2 fruits per day. Keep reminding myself that this is not for the challenge but for the goodness of my body, mind and self.

    Waste Use Reusable Bags
    What do you do if you find yourself in the situation of needing a bag for items but don't have a reuseable one with you? Carry things out in your hands? In a cart? Accept a disposable one? If you find yourself in this position often, what system could you put in place to try to establish this a successful habit?

    If the items is small, I will carry them and put inside my back else I will come at a later time/day to buy. Usually I will bring along an additional carrier bag or reuse plastic bags.

    How can you incorporate other personal values (like quality time with friends or spending time in nature) into your exercise routine?

    I do this by having morning walks with my friends. Our office is located near a park and we always walk there. The fresh air, greenery and companionship allow the body  rejuvenate and prepare the daily working life

    Yes, I agree with this. Eat less process food and more fresh food. I try my best to have 1 meal with fresh cook food.
