Phyl Divine 10/03/2018 10:33 AMFor much of history, eating meat with a meal was limited to certain days or occasions and was considered a special treat. As our country grew in affluence, Americans began eating more meat, in essence to show that they were well off or successful. Over time, eating meat with nearly every meal has become the norm rather than the exception. -

REFLECTION QUESTIONEnergy Adjust the ThermostatYour utility company is able to tell you your average energy usage. Ask them how your energy usage compares to others in your zipcode, and in your state. What other steps can you take each day to reduce your electricity usage?
Phyl Divine 10/02/2018 8:23 AMIn addition to setting my thermostat down 2 degrees, I will use the programmable feature to turn the temperature down during the day when no one is home and overnight while everyone is asleep.
