Emma's actions
Energy
Online Energy Audit
I will complete an online energy audit of my home, office, or dorm room and identify my next steps for saving energy.
Health
Happiness
I will write down three things every day that I am grateful for, or send one email every day thanking or praising someone.
Food
Reduce Animal Products
I will enjoy 2 meatless meal(s) and/or 2 vegan meal(s) each day this week.
Waste
Recycle Everything I Can
Contamination prevents what is recyclable from being recycled. I will spend 5 minutes researching and recycling all materials that are accepted by local haulers or drop stations in my community.
Transportation
Car Share
I will sign up for a car-sharing service, or organize car sharing with my neighbors, to cut down on the number of vehicles on the road.
Food
Smart Seafood Choices
I will visit seafoodwatch.org or download the app and commit to making better seafood choices for a healthier ocean.
Waste
Go Paperless
I will reduce the amount of paper mail that I receive by opting into paperless billing and ending unwanted subscriptions.
Nature
Enjoy the Sunrise/Sunset
I will enjoy the sunrise and/or sunset each day.

REFLECTION QUESTIONHealth HappinessHow does/can practicing gratitude keep you centered and motivated to work for a better world?
Emma Gannon 10/12/2018 10:57 AMWhen you're put into a tough situation it can be easy to sit and feel bad for yourself. But when you take the time everyday or at least once in awhile to sit down for 15 minutes to think and write about 3 things that you are happy about or are grateful for, it helps you to remember that perspective really is everything. And when you keep a positive perspective, you want to see the best outcome of everything you put your mind to.
