Healthy Sleep
Effectively working for sustainability requires self care! I will commit to getting 7 more minute(s) of sleep each night to achieve at least 7 hours per night.
Health
Eliminate Toxic Plastics
I will avoid buying toxic plastics - including polycarbonate, polystyrene and polyvinyl - and instead replace them with bioplastic or durable options.
Health
Avoid refined sugar
I will adopt a diet free of refined sugars, which eliminates sweetened beverages, candy, and processed foods.
Health
More Fruits and Veggies
I will eat a heart healthy diet by adding 5 cup(s) of fruits and vegetables each day to achieve at least 4 cups per day.

Miriam Reeber 10/12/2018 6:43 AMSo many fruits and vegetables in their prime right now! Try kohlrabi: looks like a satellite, crunches like an apple, tastes like a mild cabbage (its in the cabbage family). Peel the bulb, cut into sticks and use as a dipper for your favorite dip. Grate into a slaw. Cook into fritters. Add cubes to soup. Bonus zero waste tip - the leaves are also delicious cooked. For a fun family activity, the Home Orchard Society All About Fruit Show is October 20 & 21 in Canby. Info here: http://www.homeorchardsociety.org/hos-news/2017-fruit-show/
