Marcy McGraw 10/24/2018 10:58 AMMy nature journal is full of beautiful descriptions from the changing colors of the leaves to the colorful fall decor & pumpkins adorning the streets & porches in our town. I have really enjoyed the change of seasons more than ever this year because I truly appreciate all the beauty that exists around me & all that I have to be thankful & grateful for- I am truly Blessed!! -
Marcy McGraw 10/24/2018 10:36 AMSpending quality time outdoors throughout this challenge has allowed me to focus more on my environment & local surroundings in my community. I have truly discovered how it feels to experience a calm inner peace when I become one with nature & really absorb & take it all in. The quiet sounds found in the woods & on the nature trails are so much more relaxing then being in front of a computer or a tv screen. The calm that comes over me when I am by myself walking & exploring creates positive vibes that allow me to distress from the indoor activities of being on the computer 8 hours a day or sitting & watching television. Nature is truly a beautiful place for me to really be me!! -
Marcy McGraw 10/24/2018 9:20 AMToday I am most grateful for my feet, ears, & eyes. My feet always keep me walking in the right direction, my ears listen to what people have to say, & my eyes allow me to see the beauty that is all around me! -
Marcy McGraw 10/24/2018 9:10 AMDuring my challenge I worked with some ladies from my local library at a book sale where we sold used books for .50 cents a book. All the book purchases donations from the day supported funding for the library's continued success!! -
