Jana Opperman 10/18/2018 8:44 AMAfter Two weeks of summer like weather it looks like fall snuck in! But not much 🍁 in the colors yet. But pumpkin spice helps a lot with eating vegetables!-
Jana Opperman 10/19/2018 5:05 AMHa! Well call me wimpy- I was eating a pumpkin flavored chocolate bar. From a special store in Cape May called-LOUISA ‘S CHOCOLATE BAR yes!!! It has nothing but small batch and organic and hand made chocolate bars. Andy and I walked out with $100+of chocolate and about 11 bars of different combinations from around the country and world. On vacation... lol
Ok I’ll find the kick butt butternut squash stew recipe for you... -

Jana Opperman 10/07/2018 5:52 PMToday it was warm so I walked the dogs and I washed them- with the hose of course! I had to change into my bathing suit. What a week- bathing dogs and swimming in the ocean in NJ in October! It better get cold soon...would love to get rid of the mosquitoes! -
Jana Opperman 10/07/2018 5:47 PMOn Saturday we walked all around the glass pumpkins for hours and enjoyed the grey day with friends at the Wheaton Arts festival. -

Jana Opperman 10/05/2018 12:43 PMSpent the afternoon on the American Star looking for dolphins and humpbacks but none showed. That means we get another free trip next time. When we went to dinner we heard the humpbacks were breaching and playing in front of the Congress Hall Hotel in the morning. It’s all in the timing... but the day was beautiful and the seas were smooth once we got into the Delaware Bay. I wore myt-shirt the whole time it was that warm!!!! No need for a sweatshirt in October on the ocean!-
Louisa Lubiak 10/06/2018 9:11 AMFree trip next time? Oooh, take me along with you! 😄

Jana Opperman 10/05/2018 12:36 PMToday for breakfast I had portabella mushroom grilled with avocado and micro greens and potatoes. Then we went to the hawk watch at Cape May light house and saw many hawks but the American Bittern flying and 2 Bald Eagles fighting in flight were really special! After a couple hours the rain came but we went to the Audubon bird observatory and we saw about 25 Great Blue heron flying in formation- heading south. And a few warblers and a yellow billed cuckoo- special fall migration sightings! -
Jana Opperman 10/05/2018 12:27 PMToday I ate breakfast with out meat. It looks like it will often be breakfast since we are on vacation this week and next and so often I want to try local fare in fancy restaurants! But very often on vacation at least I only eat 2 meals... -
Jana Opperman 10/05/2018 12:23 PMWent out on the birdwatchers trolley in Cape May with friends. Afterwards we went back to the Nature Conservancy property to continue our bird walk. Then had lunch - see next challenge. -
Jana Opperman 10/01/2018 1:45 PMLouisa reminded me I was a veteran of the Ecologicals - lol! I seem to be on vacation when this activity occurs so the actions can be hard to log into when we camp. But then they were able to get us to log in our attempts a Day late over the years! Thanks to this it helps our points- a lot -and encourages the habit changing!and keeps me hanging in there!-
Nicole Kozlowski 10/05/2018 5:20 AMHave fun camping! You can go back in to days after they pass and checkin that you completed them. I didn't have computer access the first day, but went back the following day and logged everything in :-)
