Life is beautiful.  We should all take time to enjoy outdoor life.  Last night, just by watching the crescent moon, we were all happier and felt  at peace.

Kathleen Dean Moore says that a sense of gratitude leads to a sense of moral obligation. Do you agree? How do we cultivate a sense of gratitude as individuals, and as a society?

yes, I do agree. Gratitude leads to appreciation of people/things around you. Once you appreciate them, I will try to do better to deserve them.  We need to teach our kids to show their gratitude even for the smallest things instead of taking it for granted.

Maybe this should be part of their daily education at school

It was great.  It helps me be aware of the environment and how I can make a difference
  • REFLECTION QUESTION
    Food Reduce Animal Products
What do you think contributes to people in North America eating more meat than in other places, and what does this say about North American values and ways of living? How do we start shifting a meat-focused food culture?

Since we live in America, it is hard to NOT eat meat since it is available at a very low price.  In order to shift away from meat-focused food culture, we will need to promote other non-meat products and how to prepare a non-meat meals
