REFLECTION QUESTIONHealth Avoid refined sugarBefore you started this challenge, did you think you were 'addicted' to sugar? How do you feel now?
Molly Weismantel 10/19/2018 1:09 PMDefinitely still addicted to sugar--this has been a really hard habit to break. Refined sugar is in everything & I have a wicked sweet tooth.-

REFLECTION QUESTIONWaste Use a Reusable MugMaybe you've heard how good it is to switch from a single use coffee cup to a reuseable one but it's just hard to make the switch. Think about what stands in your way of making this a habit. By identifying the challenges, you can begin to work through them to have better success in taking this action. Knowing the difference you are making, how does it make you feel?
Molly Weismantel 10/19/2018 1:08 PMBeing able to use a coffee mug at work instead of a disposable cup or bringing one from home makes a huge difference. The main barrier to me always travelling with a mug is that I have to wash it, and being able to just pop it in the dishwasher at work saves a lot of time and spilled coffee -
REFLECTION QUESTIONWaste Find Local Recycling DepotsOur ability to recycle certain things ebbs and flows based upon many factors. Luckily there are places that accept uncommon things to recycle or dispose of in a less harmful way. What did you find when looking for places to recycle items that can't be recycled in your curbside bin?
Molly Weismantel 10/19/2018 1:06 PMI discovered that the City of St Paul will recycle anything from electronics to hazardous wastes like half-empty household cleaners. We also have several yard waste sites. -
REFLECTION QUESTIONFood Try a New Way to PrepCanning and pickling food is a great way to have delicious summer fruits and vegetables all year round. Just make sure to follow the canning and pickling guidelines from the USDA. What are some foods that you would like to preserve and enjoy later in the year?
