This was definitely a struggle...especially grocery shopping! I (mostly) resisted the urge to buy unneccesary things like cookies, and tried to stay focused on only the necessary and healthy options.

I visited the Cylburn arboretum as my new place. It is a beautiful, however small, grounds with lovely flower gardens and trails. A nice escape from the city.

I would like to invest more time in reflecting on gratitude and positivity. Too often, I focus on the bad and let it drag me down. I would like to meditate more with a goal of creating a healthier mindset and outlook on life.

I plan to continue with my daily actions, as well as the challenge I made to myself to (as an environmental scientist) read at least 1 new scientific article about the environment everyday.  I have been posting them here, and I hope that others have benefited from them.

I chose the actions I did because they are habits that I can realistically integrate in my every day Life
