Today is the last day of the challenge. I have to say I was more conscientious about my actions and the challenge held me accountable.

I just opted out of mail and magazines - through the DMA website, I hope it works!  I did something different to opt out of catalogs last year and it didn't work...  wish me and my paper trail luck !

I didn't do well on the no sugar...although I was cognizant about my sugar consumption I still had a few bites of something sweet here and there.

It concerns me most about how much food we consume and how much goes into shipping and packaging of food. it seems like more and more food is wrapped in portions that are too large for me to consume, and especially meat is often wrapped in Styrofoam, with a little pad, plastic covered and then the sacker in the grocery store will often put it...

I meal planned this week and saved a ton of money from not buying all the junk food I normally buy impulsively.

I have been working on the reduce part at our home, we have gotten our recycling down to 1 96-Gallon every 2 weeks and 2 trash bags/week. I also buy clothes second hand when appropriate
