October 25 at 12:54 PMCongrats Port of Portland EcoChallenge Team! We learned and laughed, we improved our health and knowledge, and we came in at 20th in a field of 842 teams. We also won two of our three team challenges (and on a per-participant point basis, we were winners all the way around). Way to go! Special recognition to Nicole Campbell - who was our...

October 24 at 9:53 PMI can't believe its the end of the Eco Challenge already. My family survived the meatless meals and were enlightened by watching documentaries about food. October 24 at 4:00 PMI love seeing my results at the end of the challenge. It's awesome to see how my choices do make an impact.
-
October 24 at 4:00 PMI think these challenges really made me think about being more intentional with my actions and the long term impact of my actions. Trying to remove my waste from the environment and choosing options that are better for the environment are going to be my long term goals. I want to work more on reducing my plastic waste. I think that is a little...

October 24 at 3:38 PMThe challenge is over and is has been a great experience for me and my family. I have been religious about using only durable cups and reusable water bottles, and have shown my son how to do that too. I have learned more about native communities and renewable energy, and have made an appointment for my annual physical, which I don't usually...
