    Just got back from a trip and am planning to offset my carbon output by planting trees. I even brought home a plastic bottle I had to buy and will reuse, then recycle it.

    In order to be effective in my personal life, which includes an increasingly sustainable lifestyle, and in my community, where I hope to support others in their efforts, I have to make the choices that provide me with the nourishment, rest and movement to be the healthiest I can be.

    I use a pond pump after showers or baths (organic soap)to pump water my organic vegetable gardens and the organic worm compost. The pump hangs from a hook outside the bathroom and another one is outside the kitchen window , witha 30foot hose. It comes in when I need to use it, and I hang it back up when The watering is complete

    Eating 2 more servings of Veggies is hard, I wind up eating them sort of late in the day, because I am just busy at work and I have a lot of travel time home, I haven’t eaten ANY fast food since this eco challenge started!

    I love to,read while I am eating, to watch some part of a favorite movie when I am snaking and relaxing. I am trYing to be conscious of what and how I am eating, to focus on the tastes, smells of good food, and whenever I can, eat in good company
