    So my check up landed me in the hospital.  Recovering from angioplasty surgery.  Prevention is worth a pound of cure as now I'm good for another 100,000 miles!

    The way we treat our bodies is also a reflection of how we treat our food supply.  Buying locally benefits not only the earth with lower transportation cost but also assures me of getting much fresher and healthier food choices. Eating what is in season is best all the way around. I love fall vegetables, especially those that I can roast and eat hot or cold, as a side dish, as a veggie hash with eggs, or as a salad topper.

    I started by downloading the app.  I've been eating more fish so I think it is important to understand the choices that are better for the environment and my health.

    I have dental appointments twice a year, an annual physical and all related tests.  I walk with a group of wonderful women on Sunday, water workout on Monday and Yoga twice on Wednesday.  I also enjoy the company of good friends and family.
