REFLECTION QUESTIONNature Explore My AreaHow can spending more time outdoors enhance your sense of place?
Danae Jasperson 10/11/2018 1:25 PMBeing outside grounds me to the earth and to nature. I love the Boise area because I can see wildlife and birds of prey. Mentally I am able to clear my head from the stress of the day.-
Randi Braunwalder 10/11/2018 8:11 PMI can completely relate to your post, Danae. I stepped away from my PC this afternoon to do just that ... clear my head from the stress of the day (with my dog, Sophie). It was lovely. -

REFLECTION QUESTIONTransportation Walk InsteadHalf of all trips made in the US are three miles or less; 72% of them are driven. Do you feel that this fact applies to you? If so, how might you incorporate more muscle-powered transportation in your daily life?
Danae Jasperson 10/10/2018 8:58 AMI try to make all my trips count. I may stop at the store on my way home from work (22 miles each way) to that I don't have to make another trip in the evening. I plan my trips so that I can go the most advantageous route and hit all the locations on one trip.
