REFLECTION QUESTIONWaste Use a Reusable MugMaybe you've heard how good it is to switch from a single use coffee cup to a reuseable one but it's just hard to make the switch. Think about what stands in your way of making this a habit. By identifying the challenges, you can begin to work through them to have better success in taking this action. Knowing the difference you are making, how does it make you feel?
Mariah Wills 10/05/2018 3:50 PMOne of the hardest things about using a reusable cup is remembering to wash it everyday. Its honestly not that hard - just have to make sure I make it a priority because it matters. -
REFLECTION QUESTIONHealth Exercise DailyHow can you incorporate other personal values (like quality time with friends or spending time in nature) into your exercise routine?
Mariah Wills 10/05/2018 3:48 PMI could spend this time going on walks, hikes, and bike rides with friends sometimes during the week and weekends. -
REFLECTION QUESTIONHealth Healthy SleepConsider how many hours of sleep you get now. How would you like to shift your sleep patterns? What are you finding works for you to be successful in this action?
Mariah Wills 10/05/2018 3:31 PMI have found that setting an alarm about an hour before I would like to be in bed has helped a lot. During that last hour I have traded in my phone for a solid half an hour of reading. Instead of dreading my alarm, I'm actually waking up before it. -
REFLECTION QUESTIONFood Reduce Animal ProductsWhat do you think contributes to people in North America eating more meat than in other places, and what does this say about North American values and ways of living? How do we start shifting a meat-focused food culture?
Mariah Wills 10/05/2018 3:26 PMEating meat used to be a way to show social status. The meat industry has become so efficient in how they manipulate animals that now its cheap and plentiful. We now live in a time where McDonald burgers are cheaper than salads. I think that we will have to start the shift plant-based diets through intention. Major change wont happen until it becomes popular and cheap.-
Chris Crockett 10/05/2018 3:29 PMHow come you have a picture of yourself on your profile....
But yes. Let's make meat more expensive. I keep telling y'all this.
