    Waste Use a Reusable Mug
Maybe you've heard how good it is to switch from a single use coffee cup to a reuseable one but it's just hard to make the switch. Think about what stands in your way of making this a habit. By identifying the challenges, you can begin to work through them to have better success in taking this action. Knowing the difference you are making, how does it make you feel?

One of the hardest things about using a reusable cup is remembering to wash it everyday. Its honestly not that hard -  just have to make sure I make it a priority because it matters.

I could spend this time going on walks, hikes, and bike rides with friends sometimes during the week and weekends.

I have found that setting an  alarm about an hour before I would like to be in bed has helped a lot. During that last hour I have traded in my phone for a solid half an hour of reading. Instead of dreading my alarm, I'm actually waking up before it.
  • REFLECTION QUESTION
    Food Reduce Animal Products
What do you think contributes to people in North America eating more meat than in other places, and what does this say about North American values and ways of living? How do we start shifting a meat-focused food culture?

Eating meat used to be a way to show social status. The meat industry has become  so efficient in how they manipulate animals that now its cheap and plentiful. We now live in a time where McDonald burgers are cheaper than salads. I think that we will have to start the shift plant-based diets through intention. Major change wont happen until it becomes popular and cheap.

How come you have a picture of yourself on your profile....

But yes. Let's make meat more expensive. I keep telling y'all this.
