  • REFLECTION QUESTION
    Waste Recycle Everything I Can
What have you learned about what is accepted by local haulers for recycling, what you can drop off or ship to certain places, and what is not recyclable in your area? What is the most difficult part of recycling for you?

Items allowed to be picked up by local haulers is somewhat smaller compared to the list of items you can take to the local recycling station.  Contaminated soil is not recyclable in my area, which leads me to question where would an item like this go and what is considered contaminated.
  • REFLECTION QUESTION

Mindful eating allows me to eat slower and feel the food I am eating. Savor it and sometimes think about how the food will make me feel. It sound silly but food gives you energy and the wrong kids could slow down what you are trying to build.

    Health Take Control
How do environmental health, community health, and your personal health intersect?

It all intersects organically. Enviromental health is important to grow and raise good food. The growing and raising process promotes a stronger community which fosters better mental and personal health. The foods we eat promote physical health. So, they all intersect.
