October 22 at 10:36 AMYesterday I took advantage of the break in weather to go walking at the park and do some cleanup in my yard. I couldn't do all the pruning I wanted because our local pair of foxes decided to hang out in the back corner all afternoon and I didn't want to scare them away, but I did plant some more lemon thyme for cooking this week. :-)

October 19 at 10:58 AMMy favourite chocolate pound cake has been discontinued, but having just seen the ingredients that's probably a good thing! Now I'm on the hunt for an imitation recipe that's healthier for me to make at home. I can sub in yogurt and reduce the sugar for sure.
