Always fun to participate in this. Learn a little or become aware of something new each year.

Hiked a new trail in the country today that I did not know existed until 2 days ago.  It is always nice to stumble on new fitness and scenery spots by accident.

Went on another long walk in downtown Playa del Carmen.  Experiencing a lot of the local culture.

Fall is without a doubt the best time of year for running outdoors in Michigan!

I made my appointment to get my mid-life physical at 50.  I wonder if the doctor has ever served time?

I’ve got our home running so tight right now you might think we are Amish. No lights. No furnace. Not a single luxury. :) Helps that we are empty nesters right now!

I have almost always kept lights off but now I follow my wife around shutting off lights behind her.  Must learn to educate her.

I don't understand why people laugh when I explain why I don't want a straw.  I was in a restaurant yesterday for lunch and the straw came already in my drink, but I was pleased to see it was a paper/light cardboard straw, not plastic.  It didn't work worth a damn, collapsing almost immediately and being rendered useless, but it wasn't plastic.
