    The Ecochallenge was a great way to reconnect and re-emphasize the things I do to reduce my carbon footprint and to live in a more sustainable manner.

    With the Eco Challange coming to an end I noticed one of my One-Time Challenges had not been done, so I completed immediately.  I would never of done that otherwise.  It has been a fun few weeks.

    I turn the thermostat down at night before bed, turn it up before my family gets up, and turn it back down when I leave for work. We also use lower watt and high energy efficient bulbs for lighting or during the fall/winter, I also like to add candles around the house for lighting/coziness.

    Riding my bike to work starts my day off on a positive vibe. Riding home helps me release any stress from the work day challenges. One less car on the road! Better for me and better for all!

    Walking through an area quite literally makes me feel more connected to that area - not in an abstract way, but in a "I have a reality experience to put with the line on the map" kind of way. I get a better sense of how the different streets and the land and paths in between them connect to each other.

    I have been impressed by how much this simple practice of spending just a few minutes each day thinking about what I am genuinely grateful for/appreciate of has extended into other parts of my day and lifted my spirits.
